Builds start at $3,500, which covers up to five pages built on our own tested foundation, responsive design, SEO setup, and 30 days of post-launch fixes. Add-ons like extra pages, e-commerce, booking, or fully custom design are quoted on top, so a small site with booking costs less than a large one with a storefront. You see the full number before anything starts.

In three payments: half when you sign the agreement, a quarter when the site is ready to go live, and the last quarter 30 days after it goes live, at the end of the 30 days of fixes. Work starts only after the first payment, and the site goes live once the second is in. If you change your mind before work starts, the first payment is refunded in full; once work has started, it is not. If you have a card on file for a care plan, the last payment goes on it, with an email 3 days before. Card or bank transfer, and every price excludes any applicable sales tax.

Our foundation is the set of tested, professionally designed building blocks every site we build starts from, tailored to your brand, colors, and content. It's faster and cheaper, and for most small businesses it's genuinely the right call. Fully custom design, built from scratch around your brand, is available as an add-on when you need to stand apart.

Most five-page builds take about two to four weeks once your words, photos and logins are in, depending on how quickly feedback comes back. Very little of your time: a short questionnaire up front, then a live preview link you review whenever suits you. If you would rather talk it through, say so on the form and we will book a call. It is just never a requirement.

No, and you won't need to. There is no editor to log in to and keep updated. Email us the change, like new hours, a price or a photo, and we make it. A hosting & care plan includes up to two small updates a month, and more edits are available on top.

You own the finished site: its design, its words and the code written for it. Your domain and your accounts stay in your name the whole time. For 30 days after launch we fix anything that does not work as built, at no charge. Keeping it online is a separate choice: a hosting & care plan keeps the site online, updated, backed up, monitored and fast, from $129 a month, quoted for your site, with hosting included. Or you can take it to another host. Sites that go unmaintained are the ones that break.

Yes. We can audit, rebuild or maintain a site that stays exactly where it is. Worth knowing the trade-off, though: on our hosting we control the setup, so uptime checks, backups and recovery are ours to run. On yours, we're working inside someone else's setup. We'll maintain the site, but we can't promise uptime on infrastructure we don't control, and backups are limited to what your host allows. The price is the same either way, because unfamiliar infrastructure takes more of our time, not less.

Every new site is built on our own tested foundation, so there is no editor or plugin underneath to keep patched. The Website Health Audit covers a site on any platform and any host, including WordPress, Drupal and custom-coded sites. If you already have a site, the audit tells us what you're on and what it needs.

You can, at any time, with 30 days' notice by email. There is no minimum term. The plan runs and is billed through those 30 days, and before it ends we hand you a full export of your site and help you move it to whichever host you choose. Your domain, content and data are yours throughout, so nothing is held back. If we host the site, it comes down at the end of the notice unless we agree otherwise, and we keep a backup for 30 days after that in case you need something from it.

By default, on Cloudflare's global network, which serves your pages from data centers close to your visitors. We set it up and look after it. Hosting is included in your care plan, so there's no separate hosting bill to manage. Your domain stays in your name at your own registrar, and if you ever leave we hand over a full export and help you move it.
